Terms and privacy
The short version: Unripped describes a market and isn’t advice. It isn’t connected to Target, TCGplayer or anyone else. Prices can be wrong or late. With an account it keeps only what you put in, sells none of it, and you can delete it all in one step.
Who runs this#
Unripped is an independent project run by one person in California, not a company. Questions and complaints reach a person: support@unripped.app. Using the site means you accept this page.
Not financial advice#
Nothing here is investment, financial or tax advice. Sealed product is a collectible, and prices fall as well as rise. Words like heating up or cooling describe what a price has already done; they are not predictions.
Not affiliated with anyone#
Unripped is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Target, Walmart, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, TCGplayer, eBay, Wizards of the Coast, Disney, Ravensburger, Konami, Bandai, Riot Games or Poke Snipes. Product names and images belong to their owners and are used to identify the products. Drop times and stock estimates come from Poke Snipes’ public posts.
Prices#
Market prices are TCGplayer’s, read once a day, so on a drop day they can trail what is selling now. Target’s prices come from its public listings. Any of it can be wrong, late or missing: it is a reading, not a quote or an offer. How it works has the detail.
Your data#
Most of the site needs no account. Signing in with Discord shares your Discord ID, name and avatar, never your email, servers or messages. With an account, the site stores what you put in: your list, your Portfolio (lots, sales and what you opened), your notification settings and devices, and any sales tax rate you set. Signed out, those stay in your browser.
- Not sold or shared. No ads, no data sale, no third-party analytics. Counting is daily totals of button presses, with nothing that identifies you. The only cookie keeps you signed in.
- Who necessarily handles it: Cloudflare hosts the site and the accounts database, Discord handles sign-in, and Apple or Google deliver notifications if you turn them on.
- Yours to take or delete. Export your Portfolio from the Portfolio page. Delete your account from your name at the top of the page; everything on it goes. If the site ever closes, this page will say so first, with time to export.
Age#
You need to be 13 or older to sign in, the same as Discord. Nothing on the free pages needs an account.
Fair use#
Use it, link to it, share it. Don’t scrape it in bulk, automate it faster than a person could, or resell the data. If you want the data for something, ask.
No guarantees#
One person runs it. It goes down sometimes and features change. It is provided as is, with no promise it keeps working, and its owner isn’t liable for losses from using it or from not being able to.
Money#
Everything is free today. If that changes, this page and What’s new say so first, with the price and what it covers. Nothing you have already put in will be taken away.
Changes and law#
These terms change as the site does; real changes get a note on What’s new. California law governs them.
