What’s new

Changes to the site itself — new features, improvements and fixes.

This page is about the site. For price and resale moves on the products, see market activity.

30 August 2026

New Stock status on every card. Whether Target had it in stock when we last looked, and when it was last available. Read from Target’s own product page on every refresh. Cards show nothing at all when the page couldn’t be read — an unknown is not the same as a sell-out.
New Market activity page. The full history of price moves, resale moves, new items and restocks, grouped by day and filterable — rather than just the newest few in the strip on the front page.
Improved Almost every set now shows its release date. Sets without one sorted to the bottom in alphabetical order, which told you nothing. Down from 11 undated sets to 5, and those five genuinely aren’t sold as sets on TCGplayer.
Improved More products now have a resale price. Where the automatic matcher can find the right set but can’t tell two similar products apart — a “1-Tab” and a “3-Tab” box share a name on Target — a person now picks the right one by hand instead of the item going unpriced.

29 August 2026

New A scrolling ticker of resale moves. What actually moved, at the top of the page, using short set codes. Clicking one jumps to that item rather than applying a filter you then had to work out how to clear.
Improved “NEW” now means newly released, not newly added here. It used to flag anything recently added to our database, so backfilling a 2023 product looked identical to a genuine new release. It now uses Target’s own on-sale date. Products that aren’t out yet show their release date instead of a NEW badge.
Improved Flagged listings show the actual product. A third-party listing used to be a red box with a number in it. Being flagged says something about the listing, not the product, so the name, photo, price and resale value are all shown — the warning is the exception on a normal card, not a replacement for one.
Fixed Some retail prices were wrong. The wrong element on Target’s page was being read for certain products. Because a resale tier is market value divided by retail price, a wrong price quietly distorted both the tier and the “most expensive first” ordering within a set.
Improved Pasted TCINs we don’t know get checked faster. An unknown TCIN used to wait up to a day to be looked up and published. It’s now usually resolved and live within about 20 minutes.

28 August 2026

New All five games, not just Pokémon. Magic, Lorcana, One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh joined the catalogue, with real resale prices rather than estimates.
New Sets ordered by release date, newest first. Alphabetical put “151” next to “30th Celebration” next to “Ascended Heroes”. Release order matches how people actually think about sets.
New A “How it works” page. Where the prices come from, what the tiers mean, and what this site deliberately doesn’t claim to know.
Improved The paste box is open by default. The main thing the site is for was hidden behind a collapsed row that looked like every other collapsed row.
Fixed Magic products had no resale prices at all. Sets whose name matched several TCGplayer sets were being skipped entirely rather than resolved.

Older work predates this log. Nothing before 28 August 2026 is recorded here — not because nothing changed, but because we weren’t writing it down yet.
